current high school junior

State or Country: CA
Program: Arts & Sciences
GPA: 3.96 unweighted, 4.12 weighted, could go down senior year
Gender: Female

Profile of Activities:
- choir all of high school, honors choir last 3 (2?) years, Madrigal choir senior year + leadership role in choir for sophomore and junior year
- theatre classes last 3 years (honors last 2 years)
- GSA member
- book club member
- mostly honors classes except math, one non-honors science and one non-honors history, one AP junior year, four AP's senior year (one is 1-semester)
- school doesn't actually rank but consistently on Dean's List (students with 3.7 gpa and above, so not super prestigious)
- well-ranked private high school
- some community service hours but not notable contributions to any one program
- certificates in nat. latin exam, not medals in high school
- took 2 summer credit classes which is probably not ideal
- accepted to and will be attending 7-week summer theatre program at AADA, not sure how hard it is to get into. I was waitlisted, then rejected for the Theatre Arts Cherubs program at NU (applied early)
- lead role in one school musical, smaller or ensemble roles in a few other shows

Not great EC's, I know, and not a great SAT score for NU either. It's a bit of a reach school for me (esp. considering how many theatre kids apply there) but you never know.
